Flip Scene’s Halloween Bash is tonight

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

At some point, this blog will get back to having riveting content instead of being a place where I post show flyers and go on about what events I am attending. Until then, see you at Mohawk tonight for Flip Scene’s Halloween Bash!

A killer lineup, costume contest, and more!

Mixx and Make: The pre-Halloween Craftacular

Thursday, September 24th, 2009

Exactly one month from today, TwoGroove and Electric Promotions present: Mixx and Make, one sweet-ass pre-Halloween party. What? You need more information than that?

From 9pm to 2am on on October 24th at Mixx, we’ll bring you a spooky smorgasbord of crafts, music, food, and adult beverages. Redrum from Treaty Oaks will flow as you create DIY Halloween masks, gorge yourself on coffin cakes and gummy bats, and groove to the sounds of Panjoma, Focus Group, and the Team Fabrication DJs. If you think won’t be able to remember all the fun you had at the event, be sure to stop by Trevor Ray Thompson’s photo-booth to immortalize your debauchery. On top of all that, we’re giving away a friggin’ guitar.

All of this, and more, can be yours for the low low price of six bucks (if you RSVP at www.mixxmake.com). At the door, we’ll jack up the price to eight dollars and make fun of you for not planning ahead. If you’re one of the first 50 people through the door, you won’t care as we’ll have a goody bag for you.

And, as this is a pre-Halloween party, costumes are encouraged but optional.
