This likely impacts you in no way, but I’m a fan of closure. For you long-time, avid readers (hi Mom) you’ll recall that I was working with Mixx to help them go from a nightclub to a live music venue. I booked some of the shows, provided advice, got them to advertise on Do512, updated their web presence a bit, and generally just tried to help out where I could. As of tomorrow, I’ll be moving along.

Sorry to disappoint, but there’s no big drama or anything to report. I’m working on some cool shows at other venues (one to announced very soon) and don’t have the time or energy to dedicate to a venue that, admittedly, needs a lot of help. I had fun, learned a lot, and wish them well.
