Just wanted to pass along an email I received in case it might help. The email below is from Steve Bidwell who plays with Calm Blue Sea and Hard Proof Afrobeat. He had his stuff stolen from his car last week by some douchewaffle. If you check out Craigslist or local pawnshops, be on the lookout to help out a local musician. Read on.

i had my drums ripped off from my car sometime the morning of 11/11/09.

i don’t know if you’re the kind of folks who frequent pawn shops or lurk on craigslist looking for deals, but anything is worth a shot at this point.

if anyone knows of any swap meets or flea markets in TX where stuff like this might pop up, definitely let me know.
also, if you have friends in dallas, san antonio, or houston; please pass this on to them as i’m told things like this end up in pawn shops around the state.
