Year Formed: The Core 4 band members were formed in 2004 and in 2008 the horns and keys were added.

1.Past: What is your musical background? What has led you to this point?
My mother was country and introduced me to classics, George Strait, Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, Conway Twitty, the whole solid gold era of country. My father was city, he was into Motown, and blue eyed soul stuff like Michael McDonald, the Doobies, Steely Dan. It wasn’t until about 6 years ago that music started to shape me as a person, performer or songwriter. Anything that has soul I can get into. My favorites are Sly, Stevie Wonder, Van Morrison, and Prince, really anything Motown or Stax and classic rock n’ roll, Elvis, the stones, Faces, the Band.

2.Present: Where are you at now in your career? What are you currently working on?
My band has recently increased in size by the addition of 3 horns and an organ player. We just Finished up a 5 song E.P we will self release July 17th, and are working on a whole new show, and tunes for a full length.

3.Future: What’s coming up for you? Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully with a considerable career in music. The band will be able to tour the country, sell our music, and live strictly off of our income.

5.Anything you’d like to plug?
Folks should know, we are a live band. The songs on the new ep were tracked live with only overdubs for hand claps, percussion and harmonies. What you hear is who we are in a somewhat contained setting. Come check us out live to get the full effect! Thanks for reading. PEACE
