1. Past: What is your musical background? What has led you to this point?
I started out on the piano when I was 10 years old. I think I was writing songs before I even had a lesson. My mother made me start taking lessons, since I guess the early songs weren’t very special. It wasn’t until my junior year in college that I started singing and playing guitar. I guess until then, I really didn’t have enough life experiences to draw from in order to be a writer. Since then I’ve been writing songs at a much faster pace. I don’t know what I would do without the release I get from writing. I now have hundreds of songs on the shelf that I am anxious to record and release!

2. Present: Where are you at now in your career? What are you currently working on?
We just released our first EP “Under the Radar” and we are continuing to work on our first album. ZMB has been together for a little over a year. In December, we signed a record deal with Night Train Records and we are now poised to start releasing music.

3. Future: What’s coming up for you? Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
After we release our first full length album, we plan to immediately begin recording the 2nd album. We already have enough songs for the 2nd and possibly a 3rd album. If luck’s on our side, I don’t see why we can’t release an album a year for the next 5 years. We’re definitely in this for the long haul and we have lots of great music that we are just dying to get out there. Hopefully with some touring and radio exposure we can become a household name someday.
